  • For Busing Companies bringing in a busload of attendees, will there be parking?
    Yes. You do need to reach out prior to your arrival for a parking pass for buses. Reach us at info@quinteairshow.ca
  • Are parking and shuttles free and where do I park?
    Yes, parking and shuttles are free! Visit: https://www.quinteairshow.ca/copy-of-the-show for the full parking and shuttle information.
  • Will there be accessible parking available and where is it located?
    Yes, there will be accessible parking. Attendees with an accessible parking permit visible in their car will be able to park on the South Side of the Wing. Visit: https://www.quinteairshow.ca/copy-of-the-show for full details and directions. There will be comfort carts to support attendees moving to the show arrival gates. We will not be supplying mobility aids. We will have comfort carts inside the gates as well to assist with accessibility.
  • If I purchase a ticket, but the weather forces the event to be cancelled will I be entitled a refund or may I use my ticket the next day?
    The QIAS is a rain or shine event. There are no refunds, and no, you will not be able to use your ticket the next day. While the show may not go as planned in the event of inclement weather, event organizers will adapt as required to deliver the best possible airshow experience. We will still have assets in the air, static displays will remain open, and vendors will be on site and ready to serve you.
  • How many tickets will I be able to purchase at one time?
    Tickets are available for large groups in bundles up to 50.
  • Can I purchase tickets at the gates?
    Tickets must be purchased online prior to arrival at the air show. We will have limited staff at our info booths available to help with purchasing tickets online, if required, but no physical tickets will be available.
  • What is included in the VIP Experience ticket? SOLD OUT.
    The VIP Experience ticket includes VIP parking on the North Side of the Wing, steps from the private VIP entrance. You may arrive at 0800hrs with early entrance. You will meet our VIP Concierge Service Team and will have full access to the static displays, STEM and vendor areas. Your VIP tent will open at 1000hrs. Your VIP Experience tent includes: a coffee break at 1030hrs to 1145hrs; catered lunch starting at 1215hrs with a host bar. The tent has a patio area with tables, chairs and umbrellas with a 20ft set back from the taxi way.
  • Are children allowed in the VIP Experience Area?
    Yes, but every person in the VIP Experience must have a ticket. There is only one price for the VIP Experience tent.
  • What does an Early Bird ticket give me access to?
    Early Bird ticket holders will have early access to the airshow and preferred parking on the South Side of the Wing. Entering through the Central Gate, access for Early Bird ticket holders begins at 8:00 a.m., providing these guests with the best opportunity for a crowd-free experience to take photos and explore the walk-on exhibits. Parking passes will be sent out with instructions to all Early Bird ticket holders via email. Everyone arriving at 8:00 a.m. must have an Early Bird ticket to enter, regardless of age.
  • Are children allowed in the Bleacher Area and do they need a ticket?
    Yes. Everyone entering the Bleacher Area must have a ticket. Children six and under, will be free at the gate, but to enter the Bleacher Area, they will need a ticket. The Bleacher Area is set back 20ft from the taxi way and provides an outstanding user experience for viewing the show. Tickets are limited to 5400 people per day.
  • How do I buy Bleacher tickets, and is it a good buy?
    Bleacher Seating can be selected as an ADD ON when purchasing your tickets from the main ticketing website. These tickets are limited to 5400/day and are an excellent buy, offering spectators and outstanding view of the main taxi way with most planes staging right in front of you!
  • Can I use my mobile device or print my e-ticket?
    Tickets can be scanned right from your phone at the gates, or you can bring a printed copy. Have them ready for a smooth check-in experience.
  • Can I bike, skateboard, scoot, segway inside the air show gates?
    No bicycles, rollerblades, skateboards, scooters, Segway-style transporters inside the air show gates. We have bicycle racks available, please bring your own lock.
  • May I bring a cooler?
    Yes, no larger than 15L/16 QT. Please, allow yourself extra time for security screening.
  • Are pets allowed?
    No. Only trained service dogs, for the purpose of assisting individuals with a disability, will be permitted into the airshow.
  • What are some things I should remember to pack?
    Ear protection, the aircraft are loud! Sunscreen and hats. Cash/card for on-site purchases. A reusable water bottle to stay hydrated. Weather appropriate clothing, bring layers. Portable charger to keep your devices powered up.
  • Can I bring a weapon or explosives?
    No weapons - regardless of permits; no replicas; no items that may be used as a weapon. No explosives or fireworks or other pyrotechnical apparatus or any items security personnel may deem a security risk or suspicious.
  • May I bring an umbrella or a tent?
    Tents are not allowed, including pop-up tents. Umbrellas are permitted under five-foot diameter.
  • Are drones or remote controls allowed?
    No. All drones, toy drones, remote control planes/helicopters, toys with transceivers and/or remote controls and kites are strictly prohibited.
  • Are tripods and zoom lens allowed in the Photo Pit area?
    Yes, tripods and zoom lens will be allowed in the Photo Pit area. However, please allow extra time on arrival for security. Please be mindful and respectful of others in the Photo Pit area they are also trying to get that perfect shot.
  • May I bring lawn chairs and wagons?
    Yes. Please, allow yourself extra time for security screening. If you are arriving by shuttle bus, follow the myQIAS2024 app for luggage-friendly carriers.
  • May I bring alcohol or cannabis?
    No alcoholic beverages, cannabis, or illicit drugs are permitted. Smoking is forbidden except in designated smoking areas.
  • May I bring a BBQ?
    No. BBQs and cooking equipment is not permitted.
  • Will you have a baby comfort station?
    Yes, we will have a baby comfort station with change tables and a nursing station. These will be located in our BMO Top Pilots Academy children’s area. We will also have quiet spaces - out of the sun for young families.
  • May I ride my bicycle to the air show?
    Yes. We will have a bike rack area near the parade square on the South Side of the Wing and you will enter the Central gate. Please, bring a longer chain/rope style lock.
  • What will be available for children?
    The BMO Top Pilot’s Academy will provide safe and fun entertainment for children of all ages. Families can look forward to: A fun photo booth Multiple Bouncy Castles A quiet zone, including a colouring station, breastfeeding station, and changing tables; and Outdoor board games such as jumbo Jenga and outdoor checkers There will also be: OPP Touch-A-Truck set up for children to explore The Belleville Senators will be stopping by with Belly the mascot. Andy Forgie will join us for a live musical performance each day at 10:30 am; and Aspiring pilots can even meet some of the performers from the QIAS 2024 at the photo and signature area.
  • Will you have souvenir merchandise at the event?
    We are beyond excited to showcase our line-up of QIAS 2024 merchandise. We will do ‘reveals’ showcasing our souvenir poster series; tee-shirts; posters; ball caps and mugs. Merchandise may be purchased online; and may be picked up at our show office, or at the show. We are also working on merchandise for sale at retail locations including the National Air Force Museum of Canada at the Wing. Stay tuned!
  • What amenities are offered on site?
    Water refill stations Over two dozen food concessions BMO ATM, service charges may apply Baby comfort station with change tables and a nursing station. Kiosks will be selling souvenirs such as t-shirts, posters, ballcaps and mugs. First Aid attendants Info Services Washrooms with hand-washing stations (including accessible washrooms)
  • Will there be ATMs on site?
    Yes. BMO will be joining us on site and there will be ATMs. Service charges may apply.
  • What are comfort carts and trolleys - are these new to the show?
    We will have comfort carts to assist attendees with mobility issues from designated parking lots into the airshow. Inside the gates we will also have comfort carts and trolleys to help guests from one end of the runway to the other. Information regarding the trolley route can be found on the MyQIAS2024 app.
  • Will there be food available?

  • What happens if it rains?
    The Quinte International Air Show will proceed, rain or shine. While the flying portion of the schedule may be subject to change depending on the weather situation, we will work hard to have performers still fly, and static displays and vendors will remain open. Of course, in the event of extreme weather some elements of the flying performances may be adjusted or cancelled due to the conditions at that time.
  • When will planes start arriving to the region?
    We will begin to see planes arriving to the area as early as Monday, June 24, while the majority of aircraft will be arriving on Wednesday, June 26. We will highlight arrivals on our Facebook and Instagram channels, and on our myQIAS2024 app. Follow us online at Quinte International Air Show for the most up-to-date information!
  • What is the myQIAS2024 app and how will this help me enjoy the airshow?
    The myQIAS2024 app, available in the Apple Store and Google Play Store, is available to the public for free, and will provide users with up-to-date information in the weeks leading up to the show, as well as at the show itself. This will include: All show updates A full schedule of events, including the daily air show program Histories and photos of the planes you will see, along with plane descriptions and fast facts A map of our static displays A complete list of vendors What’s happening at our BMO Top Pilots Academy (children’s area) A schedule and exhibitor list of the interactive STEM area
